"Internet Alley: High Technology in Tysons Corner, 1945-2005" - Paul E. Ceruzzi - Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington, DC

Paul Ceruzzi will provide highlights from his recent book, Internet Alley, about the origins and growth of high technology in Northern Virginia. Focusing specifically on Tysons Corner and the Dulles corridor, Ceruzzi will deliver a fascinating story of the relationship between high tech and the economic development of Fairfax County.

Paul E. Ceruzzi is Curator of the Smithsonian Institution's Air and Space Museum. In addition to Internet Alley, he has authored A History of Modern Computing (2nd ed., MIT Press, 2003)and other books and is co-editor of The Internet and American Business (MIT Press 2008). Ceruzzi has a B.A. from Yale University and a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in American Studies.
