The Virginia Indian Nations Summit on Higher Education (VINSHE) is an annual meeting of VT and UVA faculty, students, and staff with representatives from Virginia's 11 state-recognized tribes. The gathering fosters a greater understanding of the ways in which state institutions of higher education can serve indigenous communities and how indigenous knowledge is relevant to the world.
