This workshop will be an opportunity to learn about the use of contemplative practices in education, research, and healthcare in our region and to meet the individuals involved in these initiatives. There will be time to develop and deepen individual and institutional connections, to share information, and to discuss how these connections can be expanded. The workshop will offer opportunities for group dialog to plan for future events in the region supporting further development and promotion of contemplative initiatives. We will also be hearing from individuals and groups involved in contemplative education and research and in bringing contemplation into healthcare at multiple universities in the mid-Atlantic region.
