  FINDING MY PATH SPEAKERS SERIES - Dr. Nate Kranowski  
(Special Event)

Dr. Nate Kranowski is a Jewish Holocaust survivor. As a young boy, Nate traveled the seas alone from France to the United States after his parents were killed in Auschwitz. He lived with an aunt in New York City until he became an adult. Kranowski earned a Ph.D. in French literature at Columbia University (1966), masters in Accounting from Virginia Tech (1977), and a CPA certificate (1981). We went on to teach the French language and literature at various universities for 15 years, including four years at Hollins College. Kranowski taught accounting for 25 years at Radford University, and retired in 202.Kranowski and his wife, Muriel currently live in Blacksburg. They have two sons.
