Sustainability Week: "KEEN STAND Tour" Documentary Film and Presentation

STAND is a nationwide campaign to encourage and reward people who Stand Up, Out and For sustainability. The multi-faceted program includes a university tour, a world-premiere documentary and $150,000 in cash prizes. The goal is to help sustain the environment by sharing some green for thinking green.
Beginning this fall, Hybrid.STAND representatives will visit 50 universities to introduce the campaign. They'll partner with local student ambassadors to host a premiere showing of STAND, a new documentary about sustainability.
The film features artists, adventurers and activists who use their passions to Stand Up, Out and For the environment. Guest speakers will also join the event to share how people can act now on a local level. And they'll introduce the Hybrid.STAND contest, where $150,000 will be awarded for the best green ideas and examples of sustainability in three categories:
STAND UP - for Creative Artists
STAND OUT - for Outdoor Athletes
STAND FOR - for Environmental Activists
Winners will be chosen in the spring, and a summer festival in Portland, Oregon will celebrate the myriad ways people are taking a stand for sustainability. For more information and complete contest details, please visit www.keenfootwear.com/stand.
