Sustainability Week: Community Supported Agriculture
(Special Event)
Michael Burton, Blue Ridge Growers Collaboration, will speak about local agriculture and the importance, benefits, and sustainability of supporting local agricultural by purchasing locally produced products. In addition, Mr. Burton will explain the concept of Community Supported Agriculture ("CSAs") and provide information about local CSAs.
This is event is free, however, pre-registration is required. Breakfast is included, limited to 20 participants. Register by e-mailing Jerry Ford at jrford@vt.edu.
