VT-ENGAGE Kick-off at Northern Virginia Center
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)
The National Capital Region is encouraging the local Virginia Tech community to contribute volunteer hours to support the VT-ENGAGE goal of completing 600,000+ hours of community service to honor those lost on April 16 and the commitment to service they demonstrated within their communities worldwide.
Members of the university community, Virginia Tech alumni, and family and friends of Virginia Tech are asked to commit and complete at least 10 hours of community service by the end of the spring 2008 semester.
More information on volunteering locally will be available at the kick off, as well as giveaways and something warm to eat.
