Sustainability Week: Education for Sustainable Living, luncheon session

Presenters: Billy Weitzenfeld, Executive Director, Association of Energy Conservation Professionals and Bob Rogers, President, Architectural Alternatives, Inc.
Lunch presentation and discussion focused on educational resources to help us as we change towards more sustainable lifestyles. The Sustainable Living Education Center (SLEC), located at The Jacksonville Center in Floyd, will be highlighted as a "hands-on" learning center. Discussion will also focus on how we can promote regional partnering and accountability methods to help make this region a model of sustainability. A simple organically-based lunch will be available for a contribution of $5 (free for those who bike, walk or bus to the event).
