Wind Energy for Homes and Neighborhoods, Billy Weitzenfeld

Billy Weitzenfeld, Executive Director of AECP, will discuss his experience in installing and operating a 1000- watt wind generation system at the AECP office in Floyd. The discussion will include the use of an anemometer to gather pre-installation data, proper siting of the system, maintenance, and how the system is being used. This presentation is geared towards homeowners interested in the potential of installing a small wind system at their residence. Available resources that may provide assistance to the homeowner will also be shared.
