Christopher Leinberger, a land use strategist, teacher, researcher, consultant, developer, and author will present "The Option of Urbanism: Investing in a New American Dream." During the presentation, he will discuss the growth and future of higher density “walkable urban” places like the Washington, DC metro area.

Leinberger currently serves as a Visiting Fellow at The Brookings Institution in Washington, DC, where he concentrates on downtown and suburban town center development. He is Professor of Practice and Director of the Graduate Real Estate Development Program at the University of Michigan, and a founding partner of Arcadia Land Company, a progressive development company.
