New Metropolis Lecture Series
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)
Laurel Colless, faculty member, Research Development Team, Virginia Tech, National Capital Region, and director of the Energy Efficiency Partnership (EEP) of Greater Washington, will discuss the EEP pilot program. The EEP is a $500 million partnership of city governments, urban developers, energy service companies, financial institutions, and civil groups organized to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions by 20 to 50 percent in existing buildings through energy efficient retrofits.
