Occupational Health of Agricultural Workers: the Problems and How We are Addressing Them

Dr. John May, a physician and professor of clinical medicine at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, will explore the risks faced by migrant farm workers and share some mitigation strategies. The presentation is sponsored by the Program for the Health and Safety of Agricultural Workers and Their Families, which is an emerging, collaborative effort mounted by a group of researchers in the social, medical, engineering, and biological sciences at Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University.
