To assist faculty with the computer selection process, FDI has organized an all-day event on Reading Day (December 13, 2012) in Torgersen 1060 and 1040. This showcase will allow FDI participants, their support staff, and other interested colleagues to explore the FDI computer models that are available as part of the upcoming FDI track cycle (spring/summer 2013). This year, faculty can select from multiple configurations of Dell, Fujitsu, and Apple computers. Like last year, desktop, laptop, and Tablet PC models are available.

As part of this event, not only will these computers be on-hand for faculty to explore, but Dell, Fujitsu, and Apple will also be sending sales representatives to answer any and all questions regarding these machines. There will be formal presentations by Apple in room 1040. The details will be posted in the next few days. There is no appointment necessary to attend these presentations. We encourage all faculty participating in FDI this coming year to take this opportunity to visit 1060 Torgersen on Reading Day to test-drive these machines before making their final FDI computer selection.
