This program features brilliant short talks and stunning artistic performances that celebrate the power of unexpected connections to create important new possibilities. Join the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute on April 16-19 as we live broadcast this year's TEDMED program in our third-floor conference center.

White House senior advisor, Presidential Innovation Fellow, and former Microsoft designer Ryan Panchadsaram combines his diverse background to address health literacy and doctor-patient collaboration.
Andrew Solomon
