Celebrate MLK with service
(Special Event)
Join us at the nonprofit Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread, which provides over 20,000 free, hot meals to people in need each year. We will travel to Radford to help package and deliver meals to individuals within the community. We will also prepare and serve meals.
For MLK day this year, we're planning four events that celebrate the life and work of civil rights activist and social change leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join us for one of our two service events, a discussion on discrimination during a potluck dinner, and a discussion on the meaning and importance of nonviolence.
