Urban Design Seminar Series: Conversations on the Public Realm in the DC Region

The School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) and the Washington - Alexandria Architecture Center (WAAC) are sponsoring an interdisciplinary seminar series featuring Conversations on the Public Realm in the D.C. Region.
The second seminar in the series is "Design Review: Opportunities and Complexities in Regulating the Public Realm."
Speakers include Roger Lewis FAIA, columnist for The Washington Post; Elizabeth Miller, AICP, ASLA, National Capital Planning Commission; Lee Quill, FAIA, Cunningham Quill Architects; and Matt Steenhoek, PN Hoffman & Associates.
Virginia Tech discussants are Elizabeth Morton, professor of practice, Urban Affairs and Planning; and Susan Piedmont-Palladino, professor, Architecture.
