While often mistaken as only a cosmetic condition, varicose veins are usually caused by a deeper problem, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Although about half of people go undiagnosed, more than 30 million Americans suffer from symptomatic CVI and could be treated by non-invasive, insurance-covered procedures. Come learn more about the signs and symptoms of vein disease and the treatments available. Afterward, Dr. Purpera will offer free, private, one-on-one vein screenings to answer any questions or concerns anyone may have about vein health.
