Hunger and Hope: Escaping Poverty and Achieving Food Security in Developing Countries

Virginia Tech professor George W. Norton, Ph.D., will present this installment in the Spring 2014 AAEC Seminar Series. Dr. Norton's research includes international development, agricultural production economics, and resource and environmental economics. He has conducted research and extension in more than 30 countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and has published more than 110 journal articles, books, and book chapters, as well as being principal or co-principal investigator on research grants totaling more than $50 million.
