FoodAPS: A New Data for Research on Food Choice, Diet, and Health

AAEC welcomes to our 2014 Spring Seminar Series Biing-Hwan Lin, Ph.D., senior economist with the USDA Economic Research Service. Biing joined the ERS in 1991 to conduct research on agricultural pesticide use. He is currently in the Diet, Safety, and Health Economics branch of the Food Economics Division, where he conducts research on food consumption, diet, and health, with a focus on low-income populations. Previously, Biing was an associate professor at the University of Idaho, and an assistant professor at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. His past research includes fishery management, international trade, and food demand.
