Mark Whitacre holds an Ivy League Ph.D. is the highest-ranked executive of any Fortune 500 company to become a whistleblower in US history, and is reponsible for uncovering the Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) price-fixing conspiracy in the early 1990s. He wore a wire for the FBI for 3 years during their investigation of this conspiracy. Whitacre was portrayed by Matt Damon in the movie, "The Informant."

After serving several years in prison, Whitacre now holds the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President of Operations at Cypress Systems, Inc.
