  Lecture: The Artist as Activist  
(Special Event)

The Beehive Collective is an artist group with international membership. One of the members will give a presentation on their project Mesoamerica Resiste, a collaborative effort with multiple cultures in Central America. Using storytelling and art this grassroots organization has produced incredible pen and ink drawings that tell the story of global change.
Co-sponsored by the Departments of Sociology and Foreign Languages and Literatures, The Institute for Policy and Governance, and the Programs in American Indian Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies.
