Deadlines for Ph.D and Ed.D students who plan to participate in the National Capital Region Commencement on Sunday, May 18, at the Center for the Arts in Fairfax (GMU) (or the Blacksburg ceremonies on May 16 and 17:

Doctoral students receive diplomas during commencement; therefore, they must meet all requirements and have their degree officially awarded prior to the ceremony.

Application for degree submission in Hokiespa: by March 1
Final Exam: by March 28
ETD Submission: by April 11
All requirements complete and degree awarded by the Graduate School: by May 9
