Want insights into your insides? The Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is launching its new mini medical school series with Anatomy for Artists and Other Curious Sorts, a four-part event that will give community members a glimpse into medical education. Each evening will begin with a lecture on such topics as your brain on art and an owner's manual to the body, to be followed by a range of hands-on activities.

As an added feature, those with an artistic flair will have an opportunity to translate what they learn into art. No artistic ability is necessary, though. The only prerequisites are a curious mind and a willing spirit.
