Large classes present both challenges and opportunities for college instructors trying to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. While teaching large classes certainly presents challenges, instructors of large classes across Virginia Tech are successfully engaging students in a variety of ways that enhance student learning each semester! This workshop will provide participants a chance to learn from a panel of Virginia Tech's large class instructors who will share some of their best instructional practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to join a discussion about best practices in large class instruction.
