Project Impact is partnering with DonateLife Virginia and the Washington Regional Transplant Community to host Virginia Tech's first annual "Donor Week". Donor Week calls on VT student organizations and clubs to get involved and compete to see which club can increase the number or registered organ donors among their members.

Donor Week will begin with a "Myth Busters" series via Project Impact social media designed to educate VT students on the facts behind organ donation. The Project Impact team will also be prominent on the VT campus during the week advertising, with the help of their generous community sponsors, for "Be a Donor" day.

Be a Donor Day will be the culimination of the week long event. The Project Impact team and student volunteers will host an interactive booth for people to register as an organ donor and enter a raffle for the chance to win a wide array of prizes. To wrap up a successful day and week, Virginia Tech Athletics will be featuring Donor Week: Donate Life Campaign at the men's baseball game against Duke.
