Renowned artist Kehinde Wiley will be giving a public talk at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.

Among today's most innovative and successful contemporary painters, Kehinde Wiley is known throughout the world for his vivid portraits of urban black male youth, recruiting his subjects from the metropolitan streets around the globe and portraying them in the heroic tradition of European old master paintings. In his first ever talk in Virginia, Wiley speaks about the scope and meaning of his work in what has been one of the most remarkable artistic careers of recent times.
