Computer Science Seminar: Advances in Numerical Electromagnetics with High Performance Computing
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)
Ozlem Kilic, an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Catholic University of America, will discuss Advances in Numerical Electromagnetics with High Performance Computing.
She will focus on using graphics processor-based high performance computing (HPC) platforms for numerically intensive electromagnetics applications. Kilic will offer a few examples in the context of their suitability for parallel programming techniques.
Kilic's research interests include numerical electromagnetics, antennas, wave propagation, satellite communications systems, and microwave remote sensing. She is an associate editor of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine and Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Journal.
