As employees we often travel for business with male and female colleagues whether it is to work an athletic event, attend a conference or give a lecture. How do we avoid stepping over the line into inappropriate conduct away from the office? When we travel with students navigating that line can become even trickier. Business travel can be productive and enjoyable but don't leave the office without some practical guidance regarding: How much alcohol is too much? When does my off-site behavior create a hostile work environment? What should I do if a colleague or student tells me they were harassed or assaulted? We will discuss this and much more.
