- Historic Smithfield Plantation Celebration, picnic and house tour, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

- Parade in Downtown Blacksburg, Sponsored by the Mt. Tabor Ruritan Club, 2 - 3 p.m.

- Bus transportation starts to and from Virginia Tech commuter parking lot, (Prices Fork Road) to Municipal Park, 5 p.m.

- Blacksburg Community Band and Celebration Chorus, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

- The Band "Crash", 8:15 - 9:30 p.m.

- Fireworks at Municipal Park.
(Rain date, July 5 for fireworks only), 9:30 p.m.
