Are you in good financial health? Periodically we all need to review our overall financial health. This program will give you the opportunity to assess your current personal financial situation (without sharing information with the speaker or anyone else) and help you set your own goals that will lead to improved future financial health.

Our host Dr. Irene Leech is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management. She has been teaching the public and students about personal financial and consumer issues for thirty years, mostly at Virginia Tech with Cooperative Extension and in the resident instruction program. She has been involved in research related to financial wellness for most of her career and is a member of the Hokie Wellness Committee. In June, Dr. Leech was recognized for her service to consumers by the Consumer Federation of America with its Esther Peterson Consumer Service Award.
