Meet the Scientists
(Special Event)
As part of the Virginia Science Festival, The Inn at Virginia Tech and Davidson Hall will host meet the scientist sessions throughout the day. At the Inn, speakers will present in 30 minute sessions in five separate rooms, providing everyone an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of science taking place at Virginia Tech. At Davidson Hall, Prof. Michael Hochella kicks off the first of three 90-minute sessions discussing The Universe Under an Atomic Microscope," followed by Prof. Nahum Arav at 12:45 p.m. with "The Paranormal Universe," and ending with Prof. Scott Geller at 2:30 p.m. on "Life Lessons from Psychological Science: How to Bring Out the Best in Yourself and Others."
