Matthew Swarts is a member of the Research Faculty in the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. His formal education is in the field of architecture and cognition. His work focuses on the translation of human behavioral patterns and perceptions within real and virtual environments into computer models and simulations to better understand design decisions. He has been invited to Virginia Tech to give a presentation on the uses of 3D modeling and virtual simulations in architecture and design. All students, faculty, staff and the general public are welcome to attend his lecture. More information...
