Are you an instructor who is concerned about the impact of high textbook costs on your students? Do you want to be able to customize learning material for your courses? Explore possible open textbook solutions by attending a two-hour workshop and writing a short textbook review following the workshop. Participants will receive a $200 stipend for their time and efforts.

Those interested must apply by Thursday, February 12, 2015, through the online application form. Capacity is limited and open textbooks are not available for all subjects. Preference will be based on textbook subject area availability.

The Open Textbook Workshop is a collaboration between the University Libraries at Virginia Tech and the University of Minnesota's Open Textbook Library. The Open Textbook Workshop is part of Open Education Week sponsored by the University Libraries at Virginia Tech.
