Visiting artist, Professor Lynda Frese, Visual Arts University of Louisiana, Layfette, will discuss her new exhibit at Perspective Gallery. The exhibit is a collaborative effort between Frese and Professor Barbara Allen who created the text which accompanies the digital photographic collages. Allen is co-director of the graduate program in Science Technology and Society at Virginia Tech's National Capital Region.

Frese's art and Allen's written word combine for a powerful look at the shaping of Louisiana history by four noteable women.

The lecture will examine how these four women created a "geography of recollection."
