Virginia Tech National Capital Region is participating in Virginia Science Festival Month (Sept. 26 - Oct. 30) with a Maker Festival -- a day of family fun at the Northern Virginia Center in Falls Church.

Join in this unique event that combines creativity, engineering, and resourcefulness. Hands-on experiences, live performances, and interactive demonstrations will showcase a broad range of inventiveness to inspire wonder in science for all ages.

Learn to make just about anything, such as natural dyes, play dough circuits, LED paintbrushes, t-shirts, jewelry, robots, rockets, and more.

See a 150 pound robot and get your Robot Drivers License!

The Northern Virginia Center is adjacent to the West Falls Church (orange line) Metro. Free parking is available all day.
