Pete O'Shea, founder and principal of O'Shea Wilson Siteworks and national award-winning landscape architect, will talk about drawings as thinking, the integration of ecology, human program and creative material detailing, the creation of places that expand and promote the idea of community. Pete's undergraduate degree in Fine Art from Bates College led to the study of Landscape Architecture at The University of Virginia and afterwards to a professional practice focused primarily on institutional and public landscapes. A 6:30 reception in Cowgill Lobby preceding the lecture, features an exhibition of the VA ASLA 2105 Professional and Student Award-winning Projects.
