8:30am 		  Scholarly Book Publishing Today: How Things Have Changed (And Stayed the Same)

The College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences and Virginia Tech University Libraries are co-sponsoring an event for the Virginia Tech community on the changing world of academic book publishing. Led by Peter Potter, the new Director for Publishing Strategy at Virginia Tech (formerly editor in chief at Cornell University Press), the event will consist of a public presentation followed by Q&A. Immediately afterwards, Potter will lead a workshop for faculty who want to have individual consultations on publishing projects. Both the presentation and the workshop will take place in the Newman Library Room 207 on Friday, January 29, beginning at 8:30 am. Faculty who wish to sign up for consultation may use this link:
