A public lecture in the VTCRI Distinguished Public Lecture Series

Today's political, economic, and health realities present significant opportunities to shape the U.S. health care system so it provides better care to more people at reasonable cost. U.S. health care has entered a period of massive transformation, presenting opportunities to address health disparities and access issues. The country's medical schools and teaching hospitals have been leaders in recognizing and seizing these opportunities to create and sustain a health care system that is team based, highly collaborative, and above all, patient centered.
