Kenneth Henderson is one of three dean's candidates within the Virginia Tech College of Science.


Henderson is Professor and Chair in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of Notre Dame, where he also serves as the Senior Assistant Provost for Internationalization. Prior to these roles, he also chaired the Peer Audience Council for University Communications and served for four years as the Associate Director of the Center for Sustainable Energy at Notre Dame. He has 20 years of experience in academic faculty and leadership roles, and holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom.
