Broga: Men's Only Yoga

Enjoy an hour of flexibility and balance training in our free, men-only yoga class, led by men. Why should you do yoga? Yoga offers a whole body workout employing full support from the cardiovascular, skeletal, muscular, and endocrine systems. Using yoga as a form of active recovery can actually repair muscle fibers more quickly than other common forms, as the combination of stretching and relaxing muscles encourages blood flow to broken down muscle tissues. Yoga also increases flexibility, which leads to an increased range of motion, allowing you to increase power output due to greater muscle recruitment, and perform more efficient movements. This event is free and open to all male students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech. The first 55 men to attend the event will receive a t-shirt. More information...
