Elder Care Symposium
(Special Event)
May is Older Americans Month and Hokie Wellness is honoring our older citizens by presenting a full day Elder Care Symposium in partnership with Warm Hearth Village. The symposium is designed to help employees who are caring for an elderly loved one now or in the near future. Information will be provided about some of the challenges and issues around caring for an elderly loved one from a variety of speakers and an exhibitors' showcase. Family members are welcome to attend. Online registration is required - you may register for individual sessions or choose the all day option with lunch included.

11:00-11:45 AM Practical Common Sense Tips You Need to Know While Preparing Your Affairs

2:45-3:30 PM Having the Conversation: How to Start Talking About End of Life Decisions
3:30-4:45 Closing Keynote- Sometimes Ya Gotta Laugh
