Those interested in auditioning for the VT Percussion Ensemble should contact Dr. Annie Stevens prior to the first week of fall semester classes to schedule an audition. Students interested in auditioning should be fluent in snare drum, timpani, and mallets and should prepare an etude or solo on both snare drum and a mallet instrument of their choosing. Sight-reading on all instruments will be asked.

Other ensemble participation for non-percussion majors includes the New River Valley Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Band, Jazz Ensembles, and the Marching Virginians. Wind Ensemble is available for percussion majors only.
