(Research)

Each Friday, the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology convenes for a weekly playdate. During this hour, an ICAT sponsored project is presented. Join faculty, staff, and students from around campus to learn about ICAT research and events.

Tom Martin will discuss two major grant awards that ICAT is involved with. The US Economic Development Agency awarded a grant to Virginia Tech in February, 2016 to benefit entrepreneurial efforts in the region. More recently, Virginia Tech was also awarded a $2M NSF grant that will transform undergraduate engineering education.
