Each year, the University Libraries hosts the VT Authors Recognition event to celebrate those at the university who have published books in the past year.

Sponsored by the University Libraries, in partnership with the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation, and Virginia Tech's Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the event will honor Virginia Tech authors' academic contributions. We will display books that have been published, celebrate the authors in our community, listen to remarks by the sponsors, and enjoy refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
