Out of the Darkness Campus Walk
(Special Event)
The third annual AFSP Out of the Darkness Campus Walk at Virginia Tech is coming to the Drillfield on April 1st, 2017! This event is open to the public, so we welcome any and all community members in Blacksburg and its surrounding areas to participate in the walk. Check-In begins at 10am and the walk starts at 11am.
It is free to come, though we encourage registration online for walkers to fundraise before the event.

We ask for your support to help us raise awareness and put an end to the stigma on suicide and depression. More than 40,000 people lose their lives every year to suicide and about 1,100 of these are college students. We hope to help open up the conversation on suicide and depression and provide people with resources in an effort to lower these numbers.
There will be food, music, activities, and more! Come out and support our community!
