Please join the Dept. of Religion & Culture at Virginia Tech for the 1st Annual Monsignor Chester Michael lecture series in Catholic Studies.

Prof. Zac Zimmer (University of California, Santa Cruz) will speak on the use of technology in the "discovery" of the New World. How did being a new place (and a new time [zone]) shape the experience of the interaction between Spanish and native Americans?
