  Apple Cultures in Appalachia  
(Special Event)

Please join us for a multi-sensory afternoon of traditional mountain ballads, conversation, and the taste of Virginia heirloom apples. Panel participants draw on their own experience in orchards, kitchens, and markets to show how apple production, processing, and consumption sheds light on regional cultures and concerns.

Song and story starts Friday, September 29 at 4pm in the Newman Library Multipurpose Room.

The lecture and tasting are free and open to the public.
