The Speakeasy Series presents a poetry reading by Ruth Ellen Kocher, professor of English at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and author of many books of poems including Third Voice, Endling in Planes, and domina Un/blued (winner of the 2014 PEN/Open Book Award). Her poems have appeared in anthologies including Angles of Ascent: A Norton Anthology of Contemporary African American Poets, Black Nature, and New Bones: Contemporary Black Writing in America.
