Weekend Service Trip: focus on food security

[SIGN UP BY NOV. 15] According to Feeding America, nearly 42 million Americans, including 13 million children, struggle with hunger. This equates to about 13% of households experiencing food insecurity. Participants will explore barriers to food security while serving alongside community organizations focused on emergency food for individuals and families.
On a VT Engage weekend immersion trip, you'll serve a cause that matters to you, dive more deeply into social justice issues through reflection, and meet other students passionate about questioning and serving.
The cost of the trip is $30, which covers transportation, food, and housing. Need-based scholarships are available. All applicants will be considered.
