Pet Portraits with Santa
(Special Event)
Students at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine will continue their annual tradition of offering pets an opportunity to meet and be photographed with Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the veterinary college on the Virginia Tech campus.
Cats, dogs, and exotic animals (no reptiles, please) are welcome. All pets must be contained or on a leash, and proof of rabies vaccination is required for cats and dogs.
Photographs will be taken at the veterinary college's Veterinary Medicine Instruction Addition, located at 205 Duck Pond Drive. Signs will direct visitors to the event and ample parking will be available.
The cost is $10 for the session, and photos will be delivered digitally.
The Santa pet photo fundraiser is being presented by the college's Omega Tau Sigma service fraternity. Proceeds from the event will benefit animals at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center.
